Palm trees and turquoise lagoon in Barbados

Palm trees lean over a turquoise lagoon on the coast of Barbados, in the Caribbean. The island is known for its sheltered Caribbean-side waters, noticeably calmer than the exposed Atlantic coast to the east. The photo was shot by drone, wide-angle (4 mm, f/2.2), to frame both the texture of the palm trees in the foreground and the gradient of blues in the lagoon toward open water, typical of the shallow sandy seabeds of the Lesser Antilles.
